A career built across markets, people and strategy
International business strategist. Partnership builder. Growth advisor.
Jaimee Tan Jimenez did not set out to found a consulting firm. She set out to understand how businesses grow — and after eighteen years of doing exactly that, across four global regions and more industries than most advisors encounter in a career, founding Tan Jimenez Consulting was the natural consequence of what she had learned.
The story begins not in a boardroom but in the kind of fast-moving, client-driven environments where the gap between strategy and execution is most visible. Early in her career, Jaimee worked across business development, workforce solutions and commercial client engagement — at DARE Energy, at Airswift, and at OpenGov Singapore, where she worked with senior stakeholders across Southeast Asia and the ANZ region on technology partnerships, project execution and digital transformation initiatives.
What she saw — consistently, across markets, industries and organisational sizes — was the same pattern. Companies with real potential and sound strategies getting stuck not because the plan was wrong, but because the execution was unsupported. They needed someone who could hold both the strategic clarity and the commercial relationships simultaneously. There were not many people who could do both.
This observation sharpened further at Sperton Norway, where Jaimee led global account development and strategic client relationships — including a significant partnership with Hitachi Energy across Europe and the United States. Here, the advisory dimension of her work came fully into focus: not just executing commercial targets, but helping international organisations think through their people strategy, their market priorities and their operational structure in ways that created long-term value rather than short-term results.
I created Tan Jimenez Consulting with a clear belief: growth should be strategic, human and sustainable.
After years of working across international markets, I have seen that businesses do not only need ideas — they need clarity, the right people, trusted partners and the confidence to execute. The gap between ambition and action is almost never a strategy problem. It is a people problem, a relationship problem, or an execution problem. Sometimes all three.
My goal is to help companies close that gap — through market entry, commercial partnerships, talent strategy or technology-enabled solutions — in ways that create long-term value rather than short-term momentum. I want this firm to become a trusted bridge between opportunity and execution, for companies that are serious about growing with intention.
That is why I built it the way I did: founder-led, relationship-driven, and structured around a partner ecosystem that extends our capability well beyond what any single advisory practice can offer alone.
I bring the strategy, commercial direction and relationship intelligence. My partners bring specialised solutions. Together, we help companies grow smarter — entering markets, building capability and adopting technology with clarity and purpose.
